Apprenticeship as technical product designer (m/f/d)
What to expect during your training
.
Your training begins with a practical introduction in the training workshop. There you will learn to read production drawings and demonstrate your manual skills:
- Basic skills in elementary metalworking: this includes the classic manufacturing processes such as filing, drilling, turning, milling, thread cutting and bending sheet metal
- Manufacturing of individual components via conventional machining or on CNC-controlled machines for BUHMANN packaging machines
- Handling and application of various measuring & testing methods for quality assurance and control of the production parts
.
.
.
In the further course, you will get to know and assemble the first assemblies in the assembly department using assembly plans.
After this basic training, it goes on to the design department, where you learn to design on the PC. There you will be introduced to the 3D program Solid Works with exercises. Gradually, you will be able to create increasingly complex drawings and assemblies on your own. During this process you will be accompanied by competent specialists and engineers who will support you in learning the necessary skills. In addition, you will gain insight into a wide range of realistic problems from everyday design work throughout the entire time.
