What to expect during your apprenticeship

In the first year of apprenticeship, the following training contents are learned:
- Basic skills in elementary metalworking: this includes the classic manufacturing processes such as filing, drilling, turning, milling, thread cutting and bending sheet metal
- Manufacturing of individual components via conventional machining or on CNC-controlled machines for BUHMANN packaging machines
- Handling and application of various measuring & testing methods for quality assurance & control of production parts

After the first year of apprenticeship, the various training focuses come into play. In the focus on fine equipment construction, you deal intensively with the manufacture of precise parts according to design drawings of BUHMANN packaging machines.
